On the Money Graduation
The Economic Awareness Council (EAC) is thankful for the support received in 2024 & 2025! Over 20,000 youth in need from low-income communities across Chicago have benefited from in-person or virtual financial capability programming through EAC offerings each year. 21,533 youths pledged to save and over 5,745 youths have completed the Economic Awareness Council online financial education tools in Chicago in 2025. Finally, over 10,000 youths in Chicago have used direct deposit and banking to manage their pay! 41% of these youth were banking for the first time! Specifically, EAC individual donations have helped many youths to begin saving, and the EAC sponsored over $10,000 in youth scholarships in 2024.
