The Economic Awareness Council (EAC) is thankful for the support received in 2025! The Economic Awareness Council (EAC) had program participation attendance of over 20,341 in 2024. Over 375,341 youths and family members have been served by lessons with the EAC since 2003.
21,553 youth pledged to save and over 5,745 youth completed the Economic Awareness Council online financial education tools in Chicago in 2025. Finally, over 10,000 youths in Chicago have used direct deposit and banking to manage their pay in 2025! 41% of these youth were banking for the first time! Specifically, EAC individual donations have helped many youths to begin saving, and the EAC sponsored over $10,000 in youth scholarships in 2024.
