Join us for
Money, Mom and Me: A Financial Education Tea
Step back in
time at restored Immanuel Hall!
Learn about famous
women in business!
Create your own bank
or purse!

Young girls and
their mothers (or aunts, grandmothers, mentors, etc.) will
learn what it was like to work and manage money throughout
history during this fun event.
Visitors will meet ‘historical guests’ in costume who will
explain their role in handling work and money in a
historical time period while guests enjoy tea. Bring
a camera to take picture with our guests!
Event will
include iced or hot tea, lemonade, cookies or sweets. Guests
will create their own ‘financial’ products such as budget
books, banks, and purses to take home. Dress up
clothes are welcome but be sure to bring a smock for craft
time!
