Have you every
wanted to design your own room from scratch? This
after-school special will give you a chance to work with an
actual designer to arrange a layout, select furniture and
choose colors for your dream room. Through this special
program for girls from 3rd through 8th grade, you will learn
how to make choices for your design within a set budget and
how to make decisions about whether or not you should buy
items for the room on credit. While we can’t guarantee that
your parents will let you use your ideas in their home, you
will leave this program with your own design planning board
(just like on TV) and a budget to make your plan work some
day in the future. This program is open to both individuals
and Girl Scout troops. The program corresponds with the Art
in the Home and Building Art patches for Junior Girl Scouts
