Programs for Adults

EAC adult programs generally focus on providing basic financial literacy skills in the areas of banking, checking, saving, budgeting, insurance and credit.  Programs are typically provided to people with limited resources in the Chicago area.

How do you teach your children to save? Where can you go to learn more about getting your family on track financially?

The Economic Awareness Council will provide fun, financial education activities for kids and financial resources for parents at Bee Money Smart Booth at The Clinic, a resource fair providing medical services as well as other health resources for families.

At the Be Money Smart Booth at The Clinic, kids will build their own bank, play financial education games, complete contests and crafts, and receive savings themed stickers and stamps. Parents will choose from a variety of free financial education resources for adults, and they will have the opportunity to learn more about teaching their children to save. Information will be available in Spanish and English.
